About

We build the product, not the org chart.

Deciphering Logic is a product engineering company in Jaipur. Since 2019 we've shipped more than thirty products for founders across three continents — usually the ones who need a working thing in weeks, not a hiring plan for next quarter.

Why we exist

Most founders we meet have the same problem. They can describe the product clearly. They cannot get it built. Hiring a team takes months they don't have, agencies quote open-ended retainers against vague scope, and freelancers disappear halfway through.

So the idea sits. Not because it was wrong, but because the path from idea to working software was never actually available at a price and timeline a pre-revenue company could commit to.

That gap is the entire reason we built The Decipher Blueprint: fourteen days, five thousand dollars flat, and you walk out with a clickable prototype, a technical architecture, and an honest build plan with real numbers on it. If you then build with us, the fee comes off the top. If you don't, you still own everything.

How we work

We work in small senior squads rather than large mixed teams. Around seventy percent of our engineers are expert-level, which is a deliberate ratio — it means fewer people, more decisions made correctly the first time, and no layer of project managers translating between you and whoever is actually writing the code.

Everything is fixed-scope where we can make it fixed-scope. Open-ended engagements are comfortable for the agency and expensive for the client, and we would rather be the company that tells you what something costs before you commit to it.

Where we are

Our team is in Jaipur, India. Most of our clients are in the United States and Europe, so we plan our overlap deliberately rather than pretending time zones don't exist — we hold hours that reach US Eastern and Central European mornings, and we write things down so progress doesn't depend on catching each other live.

Jaipur is known as the Pink City. In 1876 the entire old town was painted terracotta pink — in Rajasthan, the colour of welcome — so that a visiting guest would find the place ready for him. It is a strange thing to inherit as a company that works almost entirely with people it has never met in person, and we've come to like it as an origin story. Most of our relationships begin with a stranger sending us something unfinished. The least we can do is be ready for them.

The city was painted to make a good first impression. We took the hint.

There is a less romantic reason we're still here. Jaipur sits at the centre of one of India's densest corridors of engineering education — close to fifty engineering colleges within reach of our office, including one of the country's national institutes of technology. Thousands of engineers graduate here every year, and a great many of them would rather stay near family than move to Bangalore or Pune for the same work.

That is the quiet reason we can put a senior squad on your product in weeks rather than months. We aren't competing for the same overpriced shortlist as every funded startup in a tech capital. We hire from a deep local pool, we keep people long enough for them to get genuinely good, and we pass the difference on to you as a fixed price instead of an hourly rate that only ever goes up.
